Five members from the Dharavi Rocks band have been chosen to perform at Roundhouse — a performing arts and concert venue in London — in November this year.

The music band from Asia’s largest slum colony has built up a reputation for beatboxing, street dancing, rapping and drumming.

The music band is part of a Dharavi project which is a collaboration between Mumbai-based non-profit ACORN Foundation and The Roundhouse.

Dharavi project aims to give young talents a chance to develop their skills and confidence through creative pursuits such as music, media or the performing arts.
