Selected graduating seniors from Taft 7-12 High School are receiving financial help from the Lincoln City Rotary Club (Oregon, US — District 5110).

The club has gifted $14,000 in scholarships to six Taft seniors to help further the students’ higher education.

The club has gifted $14,000 in scholarships to six Taft seniors to help further the students’ higher education.

Seniors Sarah Davis, Janelle, Kole Kovachevich, Shelby Easter, Nick Martin, Dylan Givargiznia and their friends and families were invited to the Rotary Club’s June 7 luncheon at the Salishan Spa and Golf Resort Attic Lounge to receive their scholarship awards.

“There was one $5,000 scholarship, two $2,500 scholarships and four $1,000 scholarships,” Rotary secretary Dr Estle Harlan said.
