A computer centre to empower Kashmir youth The IT training centre is a joint venture of Aseem Foundation and villagers of Kamalkote and will be run under the scheme “by the villagers, for the villagers”.
Aseem Foundation, a Pune-based NGO, and Army are collaborating to impart education and empowerment to the youth of far-flung areas of Uri tehsil in Jammu and Kashmir.
Aseem Foundation’s latest initiative in villages of Uri include Mobile Dental Camps, Computer Centre at Kamalkote and an All Women Bakery in Uri, an official release in Srinagar said.
It said a state-of-art Computer Centre is being established at Kamalkote, a remote village located near the Line of Control. It is supported by Pune-based KPIT Technologies.
