The Smith Mountain Lake Rotary Club held its annual Lobsters @ the Lake event at Hot Shots Bar & Grill on Saturday. “We sold a little over 300 lobsters this year,” said SML Rotary Club President Bryce Martin.
Live lobsters were brought in from Maine. Folks were able to get lobsters only, or enjoy a dinner that included corn, potatoes and sausage. Dine and carry-out were available.
Proceeds from Lobsters @ the Lake “go toward grants and donations and scholarships that we do throughout the year,” added Martin. “This was a pretty successful event, and we look forward to doing it again next year.”
