Members of the Rotary Club of Carpinteria Noon recently presented a check for $6,312 to the Friends of the Carpinteria Library. The money will fund the equipment and musical instruments needed for the Mariachi Estrellas program, which the bookstore supports.
The funds were raised through the Rotary club’s Annual Talent Showcase, club members told Coastal View News.
