Nita Ambani feted with Pravinchandra Gandhi Award Reliance Foundation chairperson was honoured for her contributions in the fields of education, philanthropy and sports.

Reliance Foundation has been known for its contribution towards the betterment of society. Nita Ambani, the founder and chairperson of Reliance Foundation, was awarded the honourable Pravinchandra V Gandhi Award by the Rotary Club of Bombay, D 3141.

Nita Ambani was presented this award by the President of Rotary Club of Bombay, Dr Mukesh Batra. The Pravinchandra V Gandhi Award is given to people for their contribution to the fields of education, philanthropy and sports.

Nita Ambani was given this prestigious award at a glittering event in Mumbai. She has been an advocate for various social causes and has improved the lives of many people with her non-profit organisation, Reliance Foundation. The non-executive director of Reliance Industries, Nita Ambani has been an active contributor to the betterment of the country.

The Rotary Club of Bombay honoured her for her excellence in public life and in recognition of her achievements in the fields of education, health, philanthropy and sports. Nita Ambani was also honoured by Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Member of the Rotary Club of Bombay Ram Gandhi was also present sharing the dais with Nita Ambani. The contributions of Nita Ambani in the fields of education have been extremely visible with the active work done by Reliance Foundation.

From providing world-class education via Dhirubhai Ambani International School, to providing basic education to the underprivileged, the former actress turned businesswoman has done it all.

Nita Ambani’s love for sports played a key role in Reliance venturing into various fields like cricket, with Mumbai Indians in IPL, and she is also the founder and chairperson of Football Sports Development Limited.
