The club opened a swabhimaan centre in a village and enrolled 20 illiterate adults. Evening classes are being conducted for them.

A Rotary photo booth was inaugurated by IPDG Kiran Lal Shrestha at the Begnas lake, Pokhara, which gets around 700,000 visitors a year. The club is beautifying a number of lakes.
