Kittu, a member of RC Bangalore South West, RID 3190, is a key member of the Karnataka Chief Minister’s Covid-19 War Room. The State Department of Information and Public Relations in coordination with the academia and start-ups had developed the website and dashboard in a short period to provide emergency help to people who call for assistance.

The Hunger Helpline Number 155214 set up for migrant labourers and homeless people also works out of this War Room. A large electronic wall traces the location from which call is made and the volunteers reach out to that site. Since the lockdown, more than 10 lakh meals were provided to the labourers and needy families.
