In a district awards event of RID 3090, titled Jashan-e-Champions, presided over by IPDG Bhupesh Mehta, RI director K P Nagesh honoured PDG Prem Aggarwal with RI’s Service Above Self Award.
He is also the DRFC (2025–28) for the district. At the colourful event, members from Rotary clubs across Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan were honoured for their contributions during the Rotary year 2025–26.
Each RI district can nominate one Rotarian a year for the Award; this top recognition is limited to 150 Rotarians worldwide. “I am humbled to receive the award, the highest individual honour from RI; and grateful to RI director Nagesh who was my batchmate at the Council on Legislation, Chicago, in April 2022,” recalls Aggarwal, a member of RC Mansa Royal.
