RC Nagapattinam Holytown

Relief assistance worth ₹1 lakh each was given to seven families affected by a fire mishap at Vadugacherry village. The essentials included utensils, clothes, blankets, groceries, mats and pillows.


RC Karur Young Gen

Fifty people attended a medical camp to mark World Hepatitis Day (July 28). Dr S Sathasivam and his team urged the participants for early screening of hepatitis virus. Karur Gastro Foundation was the co-partner.


RC Ghaziabad Vasundhra

Large commercial umbrellas were given to street vendors to shield them from harsh sun and rain. Prince Agarwal and Ayushi Agrawal were project chairpersons.


RC Rajahmundry River City

An RO water plant (500 litres) worth over ₹2 lakh was installed at the SKVT Government Degree College, Rajahmundry, which will benefit 1,000 students. Principal B V Thirupanyam thanked the club.


RC Nasik West

Around 100 students at the Nashik Association of Blind School attended a two-day Mobility Workshop conducted by Swagat Thorat, the Braille Man of India. DG Rajesh Patil inaugurated the event. The project cost ₹30,000.


RC Jammu City

A drugs awareness event was held through a skit at a shopping centre, along with informative sessions, educate the public. They were urged to adopt a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.


RC Guntur Aadarsh

Scholarships worth ₹1.5 lakh were given to 15 college students. The funds were raised through a fundraiser, and colleges were urged to grant tuition fee concessions to beneficiaries.


RC Vijayanagar Heritage

School bags were distributed to 150 students at Papinayakan Halli village. This will reduce the financial burden of families, and motivate children with school essentials.


RC Belgaum South

Sports shoes were distributed to students at the Government High School, Halasi village, in partnership with the Behere Foundation. Sanjeev Naik and Ann Ratna Behere were project chairpersons.


Rotary District

RID 3090 PDG Bagh Singh Pannu visited 14 Rotary clubs to install RI founder Paul Harris’ busts following an invitation from IPDG Dhinesh Babu. Around 290 Paul Harris busts have been installed across India.


RC Madras West

DG Shriram Duvvuri inaugurated a computer lab with smart TV (₹22.5 lakh) at the Government HS School, Perumbedu village, Ponneri, through a CSR grant from Hyundai Autoever India. It would benefit 330 students.


RC Manipur

Around 120 fruit-bearing trees were planted at the Rotary Bhavan and Poirei Nawakol Children’s Home with the mission to create a greener and healthy environment. Eatables were distributed to over 30 children at the special home.


RC Patna City Samrat

E-rickshaws were given to two persons for self-employment in the presence of DG Anu Narang and PDG Sandeep Narang. Also, cycles were donated to five underprivileged students. PDGs Sanjeev Thakur and Bipin Chachan were present.


RC Ballygunge

A health check-up camp was held at the Sukh Sansthan Briddhashram. The initiative brought comfort, care and hope with medical care to the senior citizens.
