In a CSR-grant project to empower women through a sustainable income, RC Anna Nagar Madras, RID 3234, joined hands with Aptus Value Housing Finance India and ANEW, an NGO providing livelihood support, to distribute pink autorickshaws to 50 women.

Each vehicle costing ₹2.7 lakh got a funding of ₹1 lakh from the company, and all the beneficiaries were trained by the NGO.

V K Ram Kumar, club president Mallika Thyagarajan, Rotarians, and ANEW chairperson Annalakshmi. “The distribution of pink autos marks a significant step toward enhancing mobility, and financial independence for deserving women,” said DG Suresh Jain, RID 3234.
