Rotary Club of Panaji Riviera, RID 3170, distributed jackets and gloves to 100 garbage collectors of the Municipal Corporation of Panaji City. The outfits are meant to provide them protection and keep them clean as they go about their job of maintaining cleanliness across the city.

In another initiative, the Rotarians provided aprons to 50 fish cutters in the city’s fish market. “They were looking dirty with all the stains on their clothes. So we decided to give them a decent clothing that will give them a professional look and improve their hygiene,” says the Club President Yogish Kulkarni.

The bright yellow jackets and the aprons sport the Rotary logo which will help to promote Rotary public image.
