RC Nagapattinam — RID 2981
As part of its Covid-19 relief efforts, the club distributed kabasura kudineer (herbal water) to policemen, conservancy staff and public to strengthen their immunity. Rotarians also distributed masks and handbills (dos and don’ts) to the public.

RC Pudukkottai Central — RID 3000
Special children at the Livelihood Training Centre of Mental Health Mission entertained the Brazilian delegates touring under a Friendship Exchange programme with dance and yoga performances. DGE A L Chokkalingam briefed the guests on the activities of the special home.

RC Ghaziabad — RID 3012
The club donated medicines to Chiktsya Kendra, a dispensary for the poor, as per the medical prescription of a doctor. Club President Kshitij Gupta made a generous contribution for this project.

RC Nidadavole — RID 3020
Sewing machines were given to 26 jobless women to create a sustainable livelihood to them in partnership with a local welfare group. Local MLA G Srinivasa Naidu presented the machines in the presence of Club President Ayineedi Pall Rao and Secretary Gopireddy Srinivasu.

RC Nasik West — RID 3030
The club distributed 2,500 face shields to the Nasik Police department to protect them from coronavirus infection while on duty.

RC Alwar — RID 3053
Winter uniforms were given to around 80 children at a government upper primary school at Aravali Vihar. Club Secretary Shashank Jhalani, Rtns Nirmal Modi, Vikas Gupta, Ruchi Jain, Shankar Khandelwal and Amit Chhabra, the school principal, were present at the distribution event.

RC Ankleshwar — RID 3060
The club started Adult Literacy classes at Prayogshala School located on the premises of VT College. Most of the beneficiaries have never been to school and they were enthusiastic to attend the literacy classes regularly.

RC Dasuya — RID 3070
The club donated school uniforms to students at a government senior secondary school at Jhingran Kalan village. The school authority thanked Rotarians for the thoughtful gesture which lifted the morale of the students.

RC Dehradun Central — RID 3080
The club donated woollen blankets and dress material to school children to protect them against the chill, wintery nights. The club is holding a number of health and sanitation projects in government schools.

RC Lonand — RC 3132
The club supplied essentials including vaccine at 32 polio centres in the town as part of its End Polio activities. The gesture facilitated timely vaccination for newborns in the neighbourhood.

RC Mumbai Kandivli West — RID 3141
Nine toilet blocks were constructed at Tawa School, Dahanu, at a cost of ₹4.4 lakh. The project would benefit over 200 students who were from underprivileged families. The inaugural event was attended by 10 Rotarians.

RC Ambernath Smart City — RID 3142
In the second phase of its Digital Anganwadi Project, the club donated sanitisers, first aid box, cotton mats, dustbins, audio systems and toys to 32 anganwadis. DG Mohan Chandavarkar, AG Anil Sahajwalla and District Secretary Lalit Manik were among those present.

RC Kumta — RID 3170
DG Girish Masurkar donated a drinking water facility, dresses and utensils to Gurukala, a residential school for students of north-eastern states, near Karki village of Honnavar taluk. He also inaugurated a computer lab at Mahesh PU College. The lab was sponsored by Club Secretary Kiran Kashinath Nayak in memory of his father, a past president.

RC Balehonnur — RID 3182
Over 500 face masks were distributed to the Government Hospital, Balehonnur, for patients and paramedics to guard against coronavirus. The hospital authorities thanked Rotarians for the gesture.

RC Bangalore Udyog — RID 3190
The club honoured 16 women conservancy staff of the Municipal Corporation who clean the streets daily and organised a health camp for 500 migrant women labourers in a garment industry.

RC Coimbatore Industrial City — RID 3201
Hand sanitisers and foot-operated dispensers were donated to the district court complex as part of the club’s Covid relief efforts in the city. The project lifted Rotary’s image in the neighbourhood.

RC Trikaripur — RID 3202
More than 160 persons attended a cataract detection camp at a government high school hosted by the club along with Mam Comtrust Hospital, Kanhangad. The camp was inaugurated by PDG V G Nayanar and free treatment and surgery will be provided to needy patients by the club.

RC Chathannoor — RID 3211
An ambulance was donated to the Different Art Centre in Thiruvananthapuram which shelters differently-abled children. The vehicle will facilitate speedy medical care to children who need frequent shifting to hospitals. DG Shirish Kesavan handed over the keys to Mayor K Sreekumar in the presence of Club President Shajahan M K and other Rotarians.

RC Sivakasi Central — RID 3212
The club members joined hands to distribute 50 food packets to needy people. Also, they donated 300kg of rice to tahsildar for giving to poor families hit hard by lockdown.

RC Chennai K K Nagar — RID 3232
Students of Holy Cross Matric HS School collected ₹10,000 towards PolioPlus and presented a cheque for the same amount to the club’s Foundation Chairman R Selvaraj. Rtn Anuradha Ravi is the school trustee.

RC Burdwan South — RID 3240
Gumboots, gloves, masks, sanitisers and raincoats (for rainy season) were given to around 100 garbage collectors and ragpickers who toil to keep the surroundings clean in this municipal town. Rotarians are planning to train the beneficiaries on making the best use of the protective gears with orientation lectures.

A mega medical camp was organised at Mahulia village, a remote area, in which over 500 people were examined for various illnesses and given consultations.

RC Bhilai Greater — RID 3261
An LN-4 prosthetic hand camp was held in association with RCs Raipur Royal and Jamnagar (Main) with over 100 amputees fitted with artificial limbs. They also received orientation on how to use their new hand.

RC Ballygunge Uptown — RID 3291
A health camp was held at the Ramakrishna Vivekananda Mission, Rania, in South 24 Paraganas district in which over 75 patients were diagnosed for various illnesses and 120 were examined for eye disorders.
